The blanket was as good or better than the one I have at home, super comfortable. Location was fantastic and the full kitchen was nice even though I didn't use it, nice to know its there. The house was easy to get to and the owner described how to get in very clearly. There was leftover shampoos from past guests which was great because I forgot to bring some (I did buy a bottle and left it for the next person that forgets). Towels were also provided.

Easy to get around close to shops and transportation

Good value for money accommodation close to bars and restaurants in Faro. Basic room with shared bathroom and kitchen.

Amazing location, affordable, the room was clean and tidy, all facilities were clean, even though some of it is a bit dated. The terrace was a great spot to sit and have a coffee in the morning though it could do with a bit of a tidy up. It has everything you need. I loved the kitchen and being able to prepare our own coffees and meals. Seasonings and cooking oils available too were a nice touch. The staff were very responsive, respectful and helpful. Our aircon wasn’t working when we first arrived and within 5 minutes they had arranged someone to come fix it, even on a Sunday evening! The bed was good enough but the pillows could be better. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and loved our time in Faro!

The option of places to have dinner was lovely, our favourite spot in the guesthouse was the roof terrace. It was lovely having a balcony that overlooked the street. And spots in the fridge to store some food. We had the opportunity to talk to other tourists staying here from different countries which was really nice. The mattresses were very comfortable. The place felt quite homely, would definitely recommend for a cost effective stay.
