We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is the only hotel we stay at when we drive through this area. This is such an upscale boutique hotel at an extremely reasonable cost, in a quiet, scenic river setting. The rooms and beds are comfortable and 5 star. We love that even as upscale as this hotel is, they are dog friendly! The balconies are beautiful..I highly recommend the deluxe balcony. The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, delicious homebaked pastries. The best part of the hotel is the staff. The personal attention they give the guests is another main reason why we keep coming back.

Everything was perfect! Hotel was contemporary and comfortable with nice decor. Very clean, the service was great and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and it was served very nicely , fresh squeezed orange juice , eggs made to order, , fresh fruit, etc,everything delicious.

Beautiful property, very comfortable, great and attentive staff. The food was wonderful too. Best breakfast we’ve had in Portugal so far. Truly delicious!
