The proximity to and from the airport was convenient. Of course, you "pay" with a little jet noise, but it really wasn't very frequent. It was easy to get out of town quickly, too. Furnishings (and upstairs master bathroom!) were classy Even though several rooms were occupied, we didn't get in each other's way at all. The place is just around the block from the wonderful surf sound and view! Easy to catch a sunrise and sunset. The place was spotless and touched up every day.
We enjoyed the lounging area. It felt like home. The host was very kind. It was fun interacting with guests. Great location to access the airport.
We can’t speak to the Azores house itself as there was a double booking, but we got placed in another accomodation run by the family and it was amazing!
I can't really speak for the house because I didn't get to stay there due to a booking.com/Airbnb glitch, but the length to which Carlos went to accommodate my stay next door was truly remarkable
Clean, kitchen well stocked, they provided beach towels and bath towels which was really lovely!
