Everything, just everything was superb. We had a week at Casa do Pato and Angelo was the most superb host, just so generous with his time & suggestions of places to see and things to do. The accommodation was lovely & spotlessly clean with every modcon you could imagine. It had everything we could ever need & our breakfasts were superb. Honestly, we can't fault the place, our stay couldn't have been better. And we loved seeing all the wonderful areas in the Duoro Valley, it is a magical place. A week is not long enough to do the Duoro Valley justice really!

Casa do pato is a great place for a fantastic holiday. Miguel does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. We have never received so much information and attention during a holiday stay. The apartment was beautiful, you see that it's built with lots of love!!!

Very accommodating, helpful and wonderful host. Very nice accommodation furnished with great taste and everything in top quality. Pool and whirlpool were lovely, as well as the various seating posibilities in the garden. Everything is very well maintained. The fresh bread rolls and pastries delivered in the morning by the owner himself were delicious and much appreciated. We regretted that we only spent two days there.

The host - Angelo - is a fantastic host! Super friendly and super helpful. He gave us tips for the trip, places to see, viewpoints to visit, cathedrals and monasteries. The apartment is great too. Spotlessly clean, all facilities that you could need for a stay. A home away from home. Our stay here was great and we'll certainly be back here as this part of Portugal is beautiful and with a host and accommodation like this it's a must.
