Very friendly staff and very clean. The charming old house is very well kept. Good value for money with an excellent service.

I travelled by train from Porto to Pocinho which is a somewhat remote station. The hotel arranged in advance a taxi for me which was there on my arrival. It brought me straight to the hotel where I received a very warm welcome indeed. The hotel itself is beautiful with period furnishings. I left by bus from the nearby bus station the next day and before leaving had a delicious breakfast which included scrambled eggs cooked specially for me.

Loved the room, the veranda overlooking the orange trees (which provided fresh juice at breakfast). Lots of birds singing in the yard. Staff was very nice. Be prepared to use Portuguese or translation tools.

It is a 1920 mansion perfectly maintained with original style and furniture. Only added the modern comfort things in a great equilibrium. Perfect garden and pool, with vineyards and orange trees.

B&B style. Exceptional breakfast with all the fixings and an offer of made to order eggs! Beautiful and private grounds. Beautiful swimming pool. Gorgeous family run facility built by and in the same family since 1928. Updated with a/c and other modern amenities.
