Very cozy apartment. Perfectly located in the historic Alfama district. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and places of interest.
The Casa da Maria is tucked away in the old Alfama area; it definitely felt like we were among the locals. Delicious food all around us within short walking distance. We felt immersed in the Portuguese culture. This place is definitely not for those with mobility issues as it’s around steep stairs and inclines and also steep stairs inside. Overall a beautiful area and safe/clean place to stay while in Lisbon.
The location was central to the Alfama district and transit connections. Communication with the host was good. And the view was great from the balcony. The apartment was cute and clean and the kitchen was well appointed.
Right in the center of Al Fama neighborhood. Small but well done studio apartment w a tiny but very popular restaurant right outside. The room was quiet and not noisy. The shutters closed to keep out noise. It was clean. Felt like a local.
