This house is fantastic! A minute walk from a secluded beach, surrounded by banana and papaya groves and all the amazing Madeira greenery, with a porch overlooking the ocean. The house itself is huge and spacious, two bathrooms (excellent showers). The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your family, and there is even salt, olive oil, and other essentials. Parking is right on the house grounds, and there's an excellent stone grill we used to barbecue. We loved the sound of the waves outside. Those don't bother you at night as the windows are soundproof, and I slept like a baby all the nights we were there :) The location is perfect for trips around the island with magnificent levadas and breathtaking beaches just a short drive away. The communication with the host was clear, with good directions and easy check-in and out.

Beautiful location. Great sunsets to be seen, straight from the property. Just a few steps away from a Beautiful and mostly private beach. No possibility to swim due to the huge waves and big rocks. But our kids loved sitting in the breaking waves (huge!! So be careful). Nice little village at walking distance. Lovely characteristic minimercado+pub (very cheap, locals only). The restaurant in the village was less impressive, in our opinion. We liked the location on the north of the island-> more relaxed/less touristic compared to the south. Contact with host via email was nice, swift and easy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Heel rustig gelegen - leuk buitenterras met ligzetels

Uitzinnige plek met uitzicht op zee en het geluid van de zee. Einde van de wereld. Zeer comfortabel huis met heerlijke tuin. Goede bedden (memoryfoam). Schoon. Fijne keuken. Dichtbij leuk dorpje, restaurants, wandelen of gewoon in de tuin chillen. Zorg wel dat je met een auto komt. Parkeren kan in de tuin op oprijlaan. Kan hier met grote groep verblijven.
