Fantastic friendly helpful staff, wonderful location, fresh bread delivered daily, kitchen stocked with delicious food, quiet, comfortable, great AC for hot days. Access to wonderful pool down the hill! Just pack light and be prepared for uphill climb and stairs.

It was beautifully renovated and very clean and comfortable. Fresh bread was delivered to the door in the morning for breakfast. Such a cute but roomy place. It was nestled against the huge rocks. Quite a walk up to it though. Parking is not near it. Restaurants closed on mondays except for one.

Our stay in Monsanto exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful surprise. Our apartment was charming and perfect. Our hostess was very nice and delivered fresh bread every morning. And left other food items for us to enjoy. It has a large terrace and the views are so wonderful you don’t want to go inside. Unfortunately, it had turned cold while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the terrace as much as we wanted. The town itself is like a fantasy land. I didn’t realize that parts of The House of the Dragon were filmed there. This is a truly a place the whole family can enjoy.

We absolutely loved staying at this sweet place. The decorating was so tasteful and it was so clean. The view from the porch was amazing! We even had neighborly kitties that visited us. It was a perfect place to explore Monsanto and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend it to anyone. The food that was given to us and the fresh bread each day was the icing on the cake. We enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you for hosting us.

The location is incredible, just know that it most likely requires walking your luggage uphill from a parking lot 5 minutes away (unless you're willing to drive the tiny road to do a quick drop-off). The place is so unique and it's why we stayed. Built into the rocks with such an interesting vibe from another century. The included milk, juice, bread, etc was nice and helpful considering there are not many places to find food here. Friendly host, but very little English, so be ready to translate or mime.
