This duplex (2 floor, 3 bedroom with 2 sundecks and 1 balcony and 2 full bathrooms) was far better than we expected. The only thing that would have made it better is if it were magically transported into downtown, historic Cascais. The location is off the beaten track, but was great for us, as we had a car. Uber is so cheap it kind of doesn't matter. You can uber everywhere for about 8 euros one way. Joao is a consummate host who was "johnny-on-the-spot" when I had a problem with the upstairs toilet. He had it working in the afternoon. We couldn't get over our luck with the gorgeous, spacious sundeck and we used them every single evening for our own "Happy Hour". We love the bigger, more spacious beaches as well, so we had much closer access to the Guincho area for beachcombing. This property is a dream home for us. We could easily have fit in 1 to 2 more friends. Wish we had! We felt so lucky to spend a week here.
A large, clean apartment with two large, private terrace areas upstairs. It was very quiet at night.
