The room was bright, clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and Sandra’s communication was excellent! The location is central to many things. One must be able to do a lot of stairs for this stay, but I didnt mind.
Perfect location! I've been to Porto many times, but this was by far the most authentic experience. A charming house hidden in the narrow escadas after the Douro, right under the iconic Dom Luís bridge — you truly feel like a local here. We were warmly welcomed with a little glass of vinho do Porto waiting for us in the room — such a lovely touch!
This place was everything I dreamed of to live out my european romcom fantasy. It's in the heart of porto, from the building to the entrance to the rooms I was so happy I got to stay here. The room was clean, beds comfy and I was not expecting a shower with body jets! I was lucky enough they accommodated my early arrival and upon entering the room there was a little sample of porto wine for me!
Very cute decor, a mix of modern with old stone walls in the entry way. A little kitchen is part of it which is shared with others. Coffee, tea and some breakfast items are provided as well as a small welcome bottle of port in the room. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond! Location is excellent.
The location was a plus and a minus. Convenient location to the river area but the train runs by very close. After my first night I barely heard it but should be aware.
