Great for the Fishermans Trail. Located on the trail. Small town so everything is near. Beds were comfortable and the linens smelled fresh and they were crisp and white. Spaces are a bit tired but not in the areas that matter. Shower was bursting with hot water and plenty of pressure. Rooms have no A/C so that is only problem as it heats up. There was a window but no screen to keep out the bugs. Space heater provided but saw no fan. Breakfast was varied and ample. Cook was polite and delightful. We dined on fresh dessert breads, fruit, toast with honey and jams, cheeses and meats, coffee, tea and cocoa dispenser was running.
It’s got a very nice vibe to it. Lovely welcoming, helpful, responsive staff set the tone. Lots of hikers from Fisherman’s Trail. Yes, the facilitate aren’t sparky new but they are just fine. Good shower. Comfortable beds. Sunny outdoor space to hang out your laundry. Excellent breakfast which was a real pleasure! Thank you for lovely stay!

The staff were incredibly kind and tried to help me check in early. Also wonderful at check in and all other encounters.
