Right in the Alfama district. One needs to be fit to manage the steps to the apartment. There's a lot. Also car access is limited so if you get a taxi from the airport, you'll be walking a good 5-10mins to get to the apartment. The apartment is at the top of the building (3rd floor) so will need to 1) squeeze through the tight front doors 2) handle the steps to the top. The apartment is very clean and has everything one would need. It's an old building but has been renovated. Great view of the Tagus river/harbour and the red roof tops of buildings! Lots of great restaurants nearby. Lisbon (Alfama district) is hilly in parts so be prepared for the steps! Can easily get to the trams and about a 15min walk from the metro. If you want an adventure stay here!
In the centre of the old city Alfama, if that's what you're looking for, you're on the right place. And I had 70m2 only for myself. :)
Beautiful, clean, spacious, nice view, great location. As a female traveling alone I felt very safe and the staff were very helpful.
