The kindness of the hostes (Margarida). She was perfect.
The apartment is very near the old town. It is well positioned for visiting the "Aldeias de Xisto" (Schist villages) on the one hand and the town of Coimbra on the other hand. The family suite has a big balcony which is good if you are travelling with a dog, like we were. It is perfectly fine for 2 people and a dog. Or a family with small children. If you wanted to stay there with teenagers I would suggest taking both apartments. The Laundry service on offer, is excellent.
Very clean room and airy bathroom, and I appreciated the fantastic hospitality of Margarida, she was exceptionally helpful.
