The check-in, although I had to wait until 4 pm. The hotel was a little quirky but I liked it. The staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I liked the central location and the attraction booking chalet nearby, and also the supermarket and the fine, old buildings, e.g.the City Hall and the Church behind it. The location was handy for the nightlife. I liked the old tiled buildings across the street and the night life going on on the street. I liked walking around the crowded bars nearby.
The breakfast was excellent! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly.
centrally located, close proximity to the down town hot spots (e.g. train station Sao Bento). Walking distance to the Douro river.
