Located in the heart of Ria Formosa Natural Park in Tavira, Algarve, this beach resort is 0.6 mi from Barril Beach. It has several restaurants, an outdoor pool and massage services. The rooms at the Pedras D'el Rei have a TV, a private bathroom and a kitchenette. Some rooms have a seating area or a balcony. The property also has a Kids Club (seasonal), tennis court, swimming pool, massage service and yoga available for our guests. Lights meals are served at Bar Nora and at Restaurant Vale d'el Rei. Vegetarian meals are also available. There is a free mini-train service to Barril Beach. The hotel’s staff can also provide maps and special routes around the area. Algarve golf courses are just 10 minutes away by car. Free parking is available.

The train system to get to the beach was very nice and extremely scenic. The pool was very well maintained and clean. Loved having the ability to run to the little grocery store on the premises of the hotel to make a meal or go to the snack bar or restaurant. We stayed in the comfort suite and it was perfect.
The location is very nice, we were situated right next to the walking path which leads to the beautiful beaches along Tavira. It is not 'walkable' into Tavira, but if you have a car and are looking for a little community away from all the tourists, this is the place for you. The place is a little funky, it felt like a summer camp. There really isn't a couch in the living room, but two additional beds, which was odd. The kitchen had the dishes you need, but you need to have all your own spices, oils, etc. The room didn't have wifi, but we were able to rent a router for 1 euro, which worked really well. We had a nice little yard, which was great for the dog. We ordered pizza and salad from the bar, which was excellent!
easy access to the perfect sandy beach either walking across the marshland or by the little train outside resort - apartment had everything we needed - I must apologize though as we found the cork screw in bag side pocket when we got home (amazed it got though airport sceening lol) - staff were very friendly and always on hand to help.
Relaxed vibe, something between a resort and a camping site. Proximity to the beach and nature around.
Nice hotel for the price 115 eur per night.
