Vagueira house was brilliant and enjoyable. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, patio, pool and yard are all exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and I had all the privacy I wanted while still bring able to chat with other guests. Miguel was incredibly accommodating. The house has everything you might need and a 2-6 minute walk from grocery stores and the beach(where the sunsets are gorgeous). You're missing out if you don't stay in this spot!

I loved everything about the place and the owner. The place is very well located, very close to the center and the beach. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has all you need, the bathroom is always clean, and the dorm area is very big. There is everything you'd expect from a hostel, plus a great host (thanks again Miguel!) And a pool ready to greet you whenever you need to chill. I met great people there, and I will definitely visit the place again, maybe next time for the metal festival Miguel mentioned :)

Close to beach; very spacious, friendly and responsive host

We were there for one night to stop over on our way to Porto Airport and spend a day at the beach, for this it was a good location. Very close to the beach, good parking options. The town is nothing special, rather faceless but with pastelarias and restaurants including ones with ocean view and the beach is gorgeous. The room is simple but enough, clean and equipped with cupboards if needed. The bed was more on the soft side. There is a shared kitchen that is in good use but clean, you can help yourself from the coffee which is nice.

The host is amazing and friendly, house itself is totally clean and furnished. The hosts dog is a star of the show though. For all dog lovers it’s a perfect stay. The ocean is close to the house, also parking is available free of charge.
