Fabulous views over the city...good central location...very quiet (except for building work opposite!)

The location is amazing. Walking distance to the marina, old town, cable car and shopping. We rented a car for $300 and left it parked in the garage. We didn't even need it. One note, there is a very steep hill necessary in reaching the apartment so if you're not in good physical shape that might be a deterrent. The balcony offers great visibility to the fireworks on new years.

Liked the space, the balcony and the amazing views of Funchal, the parking, the location and how close was to the center.. Great assistance from Mr Vitor who fixed the remote controls for the television.

We had a great stay at Varandas do Funchal. The flat is conveniently located and really beautiful. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking Funchal. Our host made pick up and departure extremely easy for us (with these included in the accommodation cost).

Great location, walking distance from the city centre. Nice pool and bathing area - neighbours were very nice. Kitchen had cooking appliances. Overall, the room was well equipped.
