I was visiting Kigali for a conference and stayed in a private room for 6 nights. The staff were wonderful and the cafe had great food. Breakfast (with good coffee) was included. They also rent bikes and have a bike shop- during car free day, it was wonderful to rent a bike and ride around central Kigali with no cars or motorbikes! Highly recommend staying here
This hotel/hostel is the best one in Kigali! The staff are extremely warm and welcoming. The rooms and beds are super comfortable and big. The location is exceptional, right in front of the convention center. The cafe has an excellent variety of espresso styles coffee drinks, beer, smoothies, and cocktails! The food was phenomenal and was made by classically trained chefs. I can't wait to go back to Tugende!
I enjoyed my stay in this hostel very much.
Price was not cheap for hostel but they have welcome drink service and breakfast included.
Perfect location just next to the convention center. The cafe on site is exceptional with some of the best food I had so far in Rwanda.
A wonderful atmosphere and staff right in the heart of the city. You can walk to the convention center, Kigali Heights, Kimihurura, and much else in 15-20 minutes. Everyone from the front desk, servers, bicycle repair technicians to the owners greet you with smiles and care! The coffee is crafted by expert baristas, and all the scratch made food is exquisite. Everything here is made with love and it shows in the details. Waking up here every morning in a soft, comfortable bed to the sounds of birds and joyous laughter was a pleasure I’ll always remember. The vibes here are perfect. Murakoze!
