Everything was wonderful: the owners were kind and friendly, the food was amazing, and the room and outdoor areas were comfortable and beautiful. We spent time relaxing and reading in the shade in the hammock and on the haypile in the garden.

Very nice traditional house with all the necessary facilities to make it a comfortable stay. Very good food also prepared by the hosts for a decent price.

The setting was beautiful and the house very photogenic. The room was clean and spacious. It was easy to get to a number of sights.

Located on a rural side street in the village of Calistini in Maramures, this beautiful traditional building has been renovated inside to be modern with traditional decorations. The property provides an authentic look at how people live. The grandparents in traditional dress take care of the property while the host Gheorge comes back from work as the school accountant to show his guests around. He took us through his neighbors' yards to demonstrate the ancient river "washing machine," a wooden vat with the clothes agitated by dammed river water. The grandmother showed me around the yard.

Amazing old wooden house, with modern facilities. Warm and cozy. Large rooms with a bathroom each. All amenities. Access to a common space/room with wifi and tables/chill area. Everything was clean and the hosts very friendly and responsive.
