Julio is a phenomenal host! He creates a great atmosphere and generously invited me on trips up into the mountains. He also was a huge help in orienting me and helping me get to know El Zonte. I came for a two week trip to learn Spanish and Casa de Colores was an awesome stay.
Communicating with the owner and host was awesome, they were incredibly flexible and understanding when we showed up late and asked to change rooms - really nice people and very easy to connect with
Great location walking distance to the beach, and the property itself was a great place to hang out in a hammock and relax for a day. Bonus was the fish taco nights on Saturday and Sunday.
Excellent location. Staff were so kind and helpful. Great food recommendations and the check in and out policy is so nice. They allowed us to stay till our taxi came to leave.
