SUPs can be hired in the summer and there is a boat and a bus service along the lake to Slap Savica the waterfall providing the source of the mighty River Sava! - Bohinj is in the Triglav National Park and provides a beautiful environment for walking, hiking, swimming and water sports in the sumjmer, and winter sports and ski-ing in the winter months. - Bled with its scenic lake is 21 kms away and is also served by local busses every hour. -The Bohinj Tunnel on the old Vlak/Train provides a wonderful trip south to the Soča Valley and down to Gorica in Italy with onward travel to Venice. There is also the Car-train at busy periods. The little train also connects with Bled, Radoljica and Jesenice with connections to Villach in Austria.
