The location was superb, right in the heart of the harbour end of town. (I lived in Porthmadog 50 years ago.)
The Ffestiniog Railway station is a few yards away, the museum even nearer, and the Purple Moose brewery tap on the opposite side of the main road. There is a lovely view of the harbour from the living room. Our family group of three found it very comfortable, with good cooking facilities and everything else we needed. The parking was very good and convenient.
Absolutely lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location with views over the marina. Under floor heating a great addition especially being away late October although we were very lucky with the weather. Secure car parking. Only minutes away from shops bars and eating places. We enjoyed beautiful coastal walks with fantastic scenery. A visit to Portmeirion is well recommended which is only a couple of miles away.
To add to our lovely 3 night stay, the host had left milk in the fridge for a welcome cuppa after our journey to Porthmadog plus Welsh cakes which were lovely.
Lovely apartment which just suited us. Very central . Quiet location except for the seagulls. Some lovely restaurants close by.
