In the center of Gosport, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Set just 0.5 miles from the bustling harbor front, there are restaurants within a few hundred yards. Acorn Lodge Guest House Gosport’s spacious rooms each have a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and an in-room toilet, basin and towels. Shared bathroom facilities are also provided for guests, and hairdryers and irons are available on request. While Acorn Lodge doesn't offer food or breakfasts, there is a café opposite the property. The beach at Averstoke and stokes bay sailing club is less than a 4 minutes drive away. The beach at Lee-on-the-Solent is less than a 10-minute drive away. Gosport ferry terminal is a 10-minute walk from the Lodge, providing regular 5-minute ferry services to Portsmouth’s historic harbor. Within a few minutes’ walk guests can find bars and shops, and a town bus route.

A warm welcome, which was nice after a 7 hour car drive. Luiz was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom and ensuite were clean and warm. The parking at the rear was handy. This is an older property, but never the less, we found it's cleanliness matched the likes of premier inn, but far more competitive rates. We will definitely stay again when visiting family.
Don’t let the outside fool you. We sprung for a private bathroom and the bedroom and bathroom were clean. We stayed next to the shared bathroom and if you’re worried about the cleanliness on that don’t worry staff cleaned the bathroom frequently so if you wanted to save a few bucks, go for it… also, When traveling I always check mattresses and bedsheets and found no issues here (no bugs). Walls are pretty thin but never an issue. Staff was very courteous and respected our privacy. I would stay here again for the price and cleanliness.

It was clean and basic. Easy to find and access. Its close to restaurants and we parked on site 1st day but 2nd day other guests had parked without consideration for other
En-suite shower room , electric sockets, 2 fans ,microwave oven, fridge, TV all good.
Towels , bed linen, floors all clean. Tea , coffee, milk , kettle and 4 mugs OK. Location and off street parking good.
