This Georgian building is a family-run guest house with easy access to Edinburgh city center by bus. It offers free WiFi, free parking and rooms with attached bathroom with flat-screen TVs. All rooms have a hairdryer and hospitality tray. Some rooms have period features and others have views of The Royal Observatory and Arthur's Seat. Allison House 16 is 1.5 mi south of Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station and the city center. The regular buses take about 10 minutes to reach the city center.

Cleaning staff sweetly helpful when we were in wrong Allison building. Room was ready b4 2p.m. which was SUPER convenient (though there WERE lockers had it NOT been). Quiet, temperature of room was good. Coffee & biscuits welcome (would have liked biscuits refreshed for our second night’s stay). Good communication from host.
Excelent, the bed is very comfortable and the location in front of many frequent buses. They let us to leave the luggage, replying very fast. I definitely recommend it
It’s a good place to stay, close by the bus stop which goes to the old town and city center. Very convenient!
