This lovely little apartment earns its name well, located barely 5 minutes' walk from the railway station on a pleasantly busy street with housing, shops and services that runs down to the shore and, in the opposite direction, up the hill that C.R. Mackintosh's Hill House takes its name from. Excellent restaurants and pubs are just minutes away too. ScotRail offers frequent connections to Dumbarton and Glasgow, and to Balloch and Loch Lomond.
The apartment, one floor up from street level, is just as pictured in the photographs, with comfortably sized rooms, tastefully furnished and decorated. Each room has everything you might need, including coffee capsules in the kitchen even the fridge was stocked with juice and milk and snacks.

Beautiful flat really nicely done out with a good kitchen. The host had thought of everything with milk and treats in the fridge and sweets in the bowl. I really felt at home. Thank you!!
A very warm and friendly welcome, maxine was very helpful and gave us lots of information on the local area.
The apartment was very well equipped and very comfortable, if felt like home from home .
Highly recommend this lovely apt in the centre of town. Great location to explore Loch Lomond and surrounds. Maxine is the perfect host who has thought of everything and the little extras ( milk, cereal eggs, condiments and a few treats etc) were much appreciated . The apt is spotlessly clean and very cosy & comfortable . We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Am Meadhan
Really nicely furnished, to an excellent standard. Very comfortable, and central to the town. Friendly and attentive landlady. Will likely stay again if there's availability.
