Was a very restful stay in a beautiful area with the Inn right next door.
The most glorious food, best steak I've had cooked to perfection and I've eaten in one of the best steak houses in St Louis USA and this was better,all food was wonderful at reasonable prices.Very helpful owner Laura and her lovely staff,my room was lovely,had all I needed comfortable and very quiet for a peaceful night's sleep.
Thank you so much for looking after me and all your kind help and understanding with my health conditions,very much appreciated.

Lovely pub in a fabulous, rural setting. Food was gorgeous & well priced. Staff really friendly
& helpful. My room was spotless, spacious & extremely comfortable & quiet.
I stayed in the area for a trip on the Flying Scotsman from Bishop’s Lydeard, around 15 mins easy drive away.
The room was very large and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. The people working were super friendly and welcoming.
Accessed via country roads the Inn is in a tranquil setting. Going inside our room we found it to be very clean with comfortable beds and a very nice shower. The Inn has a restaurant which we tried our first night and we were both impressed with the food and the staff. If I get back to this area again I'd definitely choose the Anchor Inn again
