The house was beautiful and had character. It was very clean and tidy and welcoming.
A nice bright airy room, lots of light and very comfy.
The room was very comfortable ,bright and airy. The breakfast was very good and the service friendly and excellent.
We would recommend this b&b to our friends .
Checking in process was great with instructions sent to me. Chocolates and hand-written welcome card on the bed was a lovely touch. Bed was really comfortable. Location of Arden House is close to the town. Cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of additional breakfast items available too. In room there was information about local restaurants and pubs. Car parking was really easy on site.
Lucie was the perfect hostess---the guest house is IMMACULATE, and there is much attention-to-detail. As former B & B operators, we were quite impressed. The breakfast offered has a lot of variety and is quite plentiful. We hopefully will visit again!
"Lucie Stirling" would be a great name for a spunky British sleuth in a detective novel! :-)
