We stayed here to break our journey home from Heathrow. Absolute gem of a place - easy to get to, fab breakfast, good room and facilities, generous and friendly hosts, easy access and parkiing. Great location for touring and lots of eateries and points of interest nearby.
The room and beds were comfortable and very clean. The host was very attentive and friendly. Gave a lovely welcome and cooked a fab breakfast! I always find that sausages are hit and miss on a breakfast and can't stand when they are too Herby/spicy. These sausages were perfect and the meal was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a very relaxing and pleasant stay. Would recommend and will definitely return if visiting this area again.
Fabulously comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, very friendly and hospitable hosts, it was very clean, quiet and relaxing! An unexpected top find.
This property is excellent! We stayed for 4 nights. The hosts are very kind and accommodating and went over and above to help us out with accessing one of our side trips. The breakfasts are fantastic, delicious! The beds are very comfortable and the facilities are very clean. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Avonlea Guest House.
