Considering how cheap this place is compared to most places in Manchester, it's pretty decent. You do have to share with other people, but you get your own room with a sturdy lock. Clean room which smells nice. Towels and a chocolate when you arrive, and even a free parking space which was super important for me. I didn't meet the host personally, but he was very quick to answer messages and informative.
There was plenty of on street parking available. There was a lock on the door to the room so felt safe.
