Dating back to Edwardian times, this guesthouse offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building, and a 24-hour front desk so guests can come and go as they please. Balham Train Station is a 10-minute walk away, with trains reaching central London in around an hour. There is a bus stop outside Balham Lodge for traveling around London, and nearby Tooting Bec Common offers sports facilities. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the light, airy eating area. There is also outdoor seating available on the patio, for eating outdoors in the warmer months. Each room at Balham Lodge is simply designed, and comes furnished with a TV and a telephone. Rooms also have a tile bathroom.

Second stay at Balham Lodge and I'd stay again. Nice accommodation, close to the common and in between Tooting Bec and Balham tubes, so a good location if you're prepared for a short walk.
Balham Lodge is an unfussy place to rest your head with some victorian charm thrown in. We loved our stay and will be back again in the future when visiting family.
The very friendly and welcoming staff . Room cleaned each day with fresh towels . There was a nice outside terrace where you could sit outside , a shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave you could use and a small lounge with coffee facilities . There was a bus stop nearby and it was only 20 min walk to tube .
Easy to find. Friendly staff. Clean and inviting, nicely decorated room. Close to public transportation. Would definitely recommend a stay here while in London!
