Breakfast was expensive. The coffee cups were small so I needed another cup, and this was an additional charge on the higher limited for coffee, that smarted a bit. The menu was expensive and limited. A self-serve buffet style would have been quicker and enabled more choice on the basics that wouldn't cost much to buy in. The smoothie was expensive and not very big and it was almost warm. I think the guys on duty forgot our order as we waited twenty minutes for granola. I trained as a hotel and catering manager so I know how tough this work can be. I much appreciated the small touches in the staff providing extra help with personal request such as help with carrying bags up and down the stairs and looking after a present I had to take to a party and relaying the taxi messages.
The mattress had a ridge in the middle of the bed that was uncomfortable if you strayed off your side.

Beautiful property and grounds. Excellent bar and restaurant too! But best of all were the staff. Pedro was a delight upon our late arrival - nothing was too much and he was so helpful. Breakfast and checkout with Brad was seamless - a true professional and a really kind and helpful gentleman managing our stay. Thank you!
Pleasant room (Oxenton) on the quiet side of the property, away from the road. Clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was really good. Complimentary prosecco in mini bar was a nice touch.
The food was excellent. Get both dinner and breakfast at this establishment. Super comfy bed. Very quiet.
