Lovely hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Food first class

The hotel has kerb appeal, it is nicely lit with lovely planting which amounts to a very good first impression. The hotel reception staff was very friendly, welcoming and efficient, another positive. On entering our room my 15yr old granddaughter said "wow, this is not too shabby" apparently this is a seal of approval:-) the room was spotless, the bathroom was fitted to a very high standard and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent as was breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. I will unhesitatingly return and recommend to all my friends and family.

Perfect for what we needed. Great price.. Comfy, clean, great shower. Lovely staff. Lovely food for a good price. Great location, 15 mins drive from Newcastle centre & close to motorway.

The hotel was spotless. The staff were very friendly. Very accommodating and helpful.

If you look at the location of this hotel in the map you might be concerned that it is so SO close to the A1. Don't be. You hear nothing of the traffic and it is in a quiet little backwater with plenty of parking. In general - absolutely excellent!
