Brathay Hall is the residential training center of Brathay Trust. It provides double, twin and single rooms with attached bathroom on a room only basis, which are located around the site. Free parking onsite is available to guests throughout their stay. The property is located a mile away from Ambleside, where visitors can enjoy a selection of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs. Guests can relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Brathay Hall Estate or enjoy walking the hills around Brathay Hall - Brathay Trust.

The room was clean and had everything I wanted. The room was warm on arrival to compensate for the cold outdoor conditions. Tea, coffee and kettle in the room was a bonus.

The surroundings were amazing . The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again with my daughter and autistic adult granddaughter as it was the perfect surroundings that she would love.
Lovely location. Lodge was well decorated and clean. Great location for having a dog. 5min drive/ 30min walk to Lake Windermere.
Great view, very quiet (apart from kids in next room), relaxing, close to lake, perfect location. Best value for money in the area yet not many in residence on the one Saturday night we stayed.
