Welcome to the Brentwood Guest house
A lovingly maintained family-run Guest House just a short walk away from York's city center.
The Brentwood provides the perfect base to explore York and we are always happy to provide our visitors with local information based upon years of knowledge to help them have an enjoyable stay in York.
The Brentwood is also well within walking distance from York Railway station leaving you free to leave the car at home. There is ample on street parking right outside the guest house for a small fee if traveling by car.
The Brentwood is the ideal place to start the day before setting out to see the sights of this wonderful historic city.
All our rooms are tastefully decorated with private bathroom facilities, TV's, Hairdryer Free WiFi and full tea & coffee making facilities. Comfortable beds and impeccable cleanliness are why guests keep returning to the Brentwood.

Easy walk into the city and attractions, parking right outside the hotel with permits arranged by the venue.
Comfortable bed with a good on suite.
Lots of restaurants and eateries nearby.
Clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff.
Great value for the price. Room is clean, bed is comfy, pillow could be improved. Staff is friendly and very reachable via whatsapp/phone.
Amazing host brilliant quiet location best beds everrrrr
The room was very cozy, the location good with around 15mins walk to the city cente.
Facilities were good, unfortunately we only found the kettle and cups on the last day as they were hidden away in a cupboard. Self check-in was convenient but we had to pay 10£ to check in 45min early.
The fact that it looked cozy, had everything clean and felt comfortable to live in. It felt very homely.
