The location of the amenities. Everything was literally on the doorstep. The bakery was just below so you had the lovely smells from that early morning; faint but noticeable.
The location was close to the train station, which we used to travel down on.The bike hire was adjacent to the station, and the New Forest was all around us. Whether you were walking or cycling you could get away from the main roads and be safe from the cars overtaking you. There were small stretches of road we had to use, depending on your route, but compared to the normal traffic on the major roads it's a lot better. We even ended up at a pub in Lyndhurst, accessible from the woods It was a bit too early for lunch so we just had a coffee at one of the picnic tables outside..We intend returning to the same place again it was so ideal for visiting my family that lives down there.
Great location and warm and cosy apartment with everything we needed
Good central location for visiting the New Forest and Dorset coast. The property had a dishwasher and washing machine. The street parking worked well for the times that we were at the property. A parking clock was also provided for guest use in New Forest District Council car parks. It was pretty cool to be right in the heart of Brockenhurst among the hustle and bustle of the main Street.
A beautiful compact apartment with everything we needed and wanted in a fantastic location.
