Family run hotel- they were very friendly and helpful. Mini prosecco bottle was a lovely gesture to help celebrate my birthday.
We dined in on the day the brasserie was open during our stay, and the meal was of exceptional standard -excellent chef!
The Burford Lodge was a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Our check-in was easy, and they upgraded our room. Andrea gave us so many great recommendations about what to see in the area and the best times to go. She was a lovely hostess. The breakfasts were superb and home cooked with many egg options. Our floor had a lovely terrace overlooking the golf course where we could sit in the afternoon. Our adult children had rooms on the same floor. Rooms were spacious and had tea/coffee in the room. Burford has plenty of restaurants for dinner, which was important to us as we didn’t want to drive Cotswolds roads at night.
Terrace on 2nd floor overlooks golf course. Location on a40 makes it convenient and walk to high street was only 10 min
Breakfast was very good. The fruit cocktail was very fresh and the meal choices good. The staff serving were very friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely large room that was very clean.
Staff is a family who go out of their way to help. We found the food exceptional despite so few people in the dining room. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The host and hostess were very willing to give advice about sights to see and where to park. Loved it.
