Very welcoming host in lovely cottage in very quiet hamlet. Great breakfasts and good wi fi. I enjoyed my break of 3 nights after so many years of not being in Wales. It's a good place to stay for walkers and cyclists. It's a great place as a base to explore central Wales, the Dyfi Valley, the Osprey Centre and the coastline of Aberdovey to Barmouth. The train service to the North and to Aber is just 3 miles away in Machynlleth and is frequent enough to have day trips and then returning to the base. The station has free parking for train travellers and there's some paid for parking about 5 minutes away at a storage centre. The nearest pub is the Dovey Valley Hotel at Cemmaes Road or there are at least five in Machynlleth.
The host is amazing. She picked me up from the station and offered me a left everyday (for a rate less than the local taxi company) to the bike park, town or shop

Teleri was very welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. I was very impressed with the breakfast, which was substantial as well as the tea and coffee station in the room.
There was a secure space to keep my mountain bike, and I was able to park my car easily.
The host, Teleri, was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for my son and I, including ferrying us to and from Machynlleth for the comedy festival. A lovely lady, friendly and extremely informative about the area. Rooms were comfy and Taleri's breakfasts (continental) set us up for the day. Diolch yn fawr Teleri!
