Great spot with the castle just outside the door. Great hosts who took time out to give us a guided tour of the castle and its history. Comfortable bed and great to have a small kitchenette with a microwave and toaster and kettle. Television is small and in the bedroom but this wasn’t an issue as we were out all day taking in what the area has to offer. Parking is under cover right next door. No complaints for the money and close to Castle Howard and the lavender farm👍milk tea and coffee supplied and a nice lemon drizzle cake 😋
Little cottage was lovely,had everything you needed ,milk left and beautiful homemade cake yummy the views were fabulous especially the ruins of the castle,which the lovely owner kindly showed us round . One of the rooms in the castle was intact ,lovely for weddings (my favourite bit ) lots of dog walking and pub just across the field WHAT more could you want
My son and I loved our stay for 2 nights at Castle Court with its unique setting amongst castle ruins.
The hosts Pat and Natassia were lovely and gave us a quick tour of the ruins upon check-in.
Such a peaceful stay.

We had an enjoyable stay at Castle Court, Nice welcome cake on our arrival and even had a nice little insight of the castle from Natassia, Room was comfortable and no real negatives about the place. Would love to come again one day. Thank you Natassia and Pat
It was very nice and comfortable and had everything we needed and even a special touch of homemade cake. Nice walks for the dog and seeing the Castle was lovely the owners were lovely too We would recommend this place to others and we will be back again.
