Mike was an excellent host. He serves a great breakfast and is very accommodating. He has good suggestions for traveling through the area.
The owner David is very helpful and a good cook. Breakfast was excellent.
Staying at Coombe House was an absolutely magical experience. The house itself was beautiful and well-appointed. It was in walking distance to the main downtown area with restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room had a view of an enchanting garden right outside the windows. At night it was serene and quiet. David himself was a fantastic and engaging host, and provided assistance and information as needed.
What wasn’t there to like??? It was absolutely stunningly beautiful, the location perfect and David, our host, added to the overall wonderful experience! Not to mention the delicious, fresh breakfast, made to order each morning! (Be sure to ask David about his special hike to Upper and Lower Slaughter!!)
Excellent breakfast, lovely accommodation, David is a fabulous host, only a few minutes easy walk to town center.
