Our room was very spacious and clean, the food was better than your average pub and the location was perfect for us and picturesque

Handy location and plenty of parking Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble! Good food and a lovely setting both inside and out!

It is an attractive hotel in a beautiful village location. There are interesting local walks on roads and footpaths - we took the shorter one beside the river to the parish church, and the longer one by road across the railway line and then along the canal tow path. The staff were helpful, particularly the lovely cleaners. The pub does very good food, so everything is catered for. The garden is lovely, with river views, and even an ancient Jacobite monument! There is plenty of parking.

Breakfast was great lots of choice and cooked to order, Room was clean and a good size, we had dinner twice and the food was excellent, bar staff were great and a great pint of Pedigree
