The modern bar offers an extensive range of wines along with regional bottled beers and ales. Guests can enjoy an excellent choice of specialist tea and fresh coffees at The Cross Foxes Cafe, as well as a selection of cake and sandwiches. Near the foot of Cadair Idris Mountain, guests at Cross Foxes can take advantage of fantastic mountain walks or biking trails through the scenery of Snowdonia National Park. Dolgellau is just a 10 minute drive away.

The property is stunning and very clean. I have been to the excellent restaurant many times but this is the first time that I have stayed there and I will be returning on my next visit.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds and good shower/bathroom. The breakfasts were very good - excellent choice of food. We only had dinner one night and it was the Sunday menu so I can't comment on the normal bar menu. The food was good, but huge portions!
Good location - surprisingly accessible by bus. Rooms fitted out to high standard. Certain staff members excellent (Gemma deserves a special mention). Breakfast good.
Great food, amazing breakfast with a great amount of choice. Staff were great and very accommodating.
Perfect location to get to Cadais Idris walking route. Was a 5 minute drive away and great for other connections.
Breakfast was lovely. We both had eggs rotate which I highly recommend.
Evening meal was delicious too. We both had Welsh burgers. Full off flavour.
Staff were helpful and kindly gave us a proper milk to take up to the room for a well needed am deserved cuppa after our long walk. Since touch.
Rooms were clean and modern. With was lovely and was stocked with complimentary items.
We were initially apprehensive about our stay after some recent reviews but our stay was nothing like the reviews. The complete opposite so I’m glad we didn’t get put off my them.
