Staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive and efficient. Rooms were very well appointed, comfortable and clean. The food was perfectly cooked, well presented and served in comfortable and tastefully decorated surroundings. I am so pleased that I came across the Crown and Anchor and will certainly be back if I am ever in the area again

The staff was very welcoming, and had a lot of knowledge of the area. We loved out stay there.
The Crown and Anchor is off the beaten path and a wonderful place to get away. We drove many narrow, winding roads to find it (part of the adventure for us!). Our room was larger than we expected, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, with a king-sized bed and attached bathroom. We enjoyed lunch in the Crown's pub on the day we arrived, and the breakfast the next morning was quite good. We also enjoyed driving to nearby Hungerford for a walk along the canal and dinner at the Amore Italian restaurant.
The pub was beautifully done, warm and welcoming. Staff super friendly and delicious food. Room was really nice, comfortable and great shower.
