Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and location better than we expected when the shortcut off the motorway to get off the motorway was explained to us.
We arrived early and wanted to check early but there was nobody on Reception at 2.30pm so we had to take our bags with us when we headed off to Upton - the long way round. Found out about the alternative route when we checked in later that evening which saved about 30 mins on our journey!
Clean comfortable room would benefit from a small armchair. Clean but shabby bathroom with very rusty sink plug and surround.
The rooms are large, comfy and with great facilities. Large coffee mugs and plenty of tea and coffee

Great value for money, near conveniences, comfortable bed, clean, with heaters and everything adequate for a short stay.
