It is right by the bus line from/to the EDI airport. We had a hike to town which we knew and planned for. I like the location. We were grateful for the help getting a suitcase upstairs. I was pleased we chose Eliza house.
We just needed an overnight stay and it ticked the boxes perfectly. Quaint and comfortable and very pretty.
Location is good. About a 20 minutes walk to Prince Street. Longer to Royal Mule and other attractions. The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of heavy bags and they were quick to assist in taking them up for us. They also called for a cab to airport and scheduled it for us.
The hotel is quaint and I loved the decor. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating to our needs. The location is a 5 minute walk from the Haymarket train and tram station. We easily walked everywhere. Everything is just as described. There is no lift, which is made very clear in all their communication several different times. The hotel met both our travel and budget needs.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was in a nice location close to Cafe's and public transport.
