The setting was beautiful. The apartment was spacious. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and well fitted. A cake gift was a lovely gesture.

Admittedly the weather luckily was gorgeous but so was the countryside roundabouts. The rooms were very comfortable and it was a lovely quiet stay.
The rental units are well furnished and kitchen has all the things we needed for cooking our own meals. Wifi is strong. We stayed with 2 other couples and all commented how comfortable the beds were. Setting is beautiful. Kirkby Stephen is close by for markets, pubs and restaurants. We highly recommend Elysian Fields.
