Absolutely everything about this hotel was wonderful. The associate at the front desk was lovely and so welcoming. I highly recommend the breakfast, too.
The room was clean and exactly what we needed after a long flight. Lastly, the location is perfect if you want to be near some of the key sites in Edinburgh. So many things were within walking distance.
Top floor room was great, quiet and cute - air conditioning during hot spell and great location and helpful staff

Location is great but it is a very old building remodeled with new floor, bathroom, carpet, very clean. No closet but an old kind of linen closet that could be replaced for a newer one. Room very small.

Great location in old town, lots to see and do. Hotel staff front desk staff were terrific. Our room was located right over the pub overlooking the outdoor seating area so we thought we might need to deal with a rowdy Saturday night/early a.m. crowd. Things closed up at 1:00 a.m., however, so we had no trouble with noise. (Also, thanks for Tunnock's Caramel wafers. You got us hooked.)
