had a bunk room to myself...so very quiet and clean. lovely pub food across the road. ideal for hadrians wall
I ended up with a bunk room to myself. There was a large well outfitted kitchen and common room. Also a quiet room.
great situation just off pennine way. in the village. easy access.

Booking in is easy at the hotel with evening meals available if not using the good self-catering facilities of the hostel.
Perfect stopover for both Pennine Way and Hadrians Wall walkers being a very short distance off both routes.
Peaceful location. Food at the hotel is top notch if you choose to splash out. This was my second visit and chose to cook in the hostel. Kitchen is well kitted out. Excellent facilities all round.
