The cleanliness and hot tub with a beautiful view of the lake
In a beautiful setting, very relaxing and peaceful!
I loved how peaceful and quiet the location was, we could see the sea in the distance but felt we had our own pocket of luxury all to our own. For a relatively small lodge, we had all the amenities you would need for a very comfortable stay - not to mention the tea, coffee, milk etc that was left for us! The bed was the perfect size for a good night's sleep, and the hot tub was simply divine! The staff were so attentive with room service and cleaning the hot tub etc. The room service food was delicious and served promptly, yet fresh and hot. We enjoyed the tennis court and gym, as well as the ideal location to drive out and down to St Ives and Falmouth.
Beautiful Lodge that was lovely and clean with a hot tub and sea views. The lodge was very spacious.

We had the most incredible stay at Gwen a Mor in Portreath – it truly exceeded all our expectations. The house is absolutely stunning – beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The attention to detail throughout was exceptional, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it a perfect home-from-home.
The views from the property are breathtaking, and the location is ideal – just a short walk to the beach and the charming village of Portreath.
It was the perfect place to unwind with the family, and we left feeling completely refreshed. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and can’t recommend it highly enough. An absolute gem on the Cornish coast!
