The bar is popular with local fishermen, and offers a selection of locally brewed ales including the award-winning St Austell. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu, which regularly features freshly caught fish. There is entertainment in the bar on Friday and Saturday evenings until 23:00 and a quiz night on Thursday evenings. Located on the water’s edge, The Harbor Inn Hotel is just steps from Portleven Coastal Path. Flambards Theme Park is just a 10-minute drive away, and The Goonhilly Earth Station can be reached in 20 minutes. Penzance is also 20 minutes away.

fantastic location right in the heart of Porthleven
The location is idyllic and breakfast was superb with both continental & hot options. The bed was incredibly comfortable too!
*Excellent location overlooking the harbour. The hotel has parking and there's also some free public parking just outside.
*The room was small but beautifully decorated and very well equipped. We stayed in other St Austell Brewery pubs during our trip around Cornwall, and this was by far the nicest.
The bed was comfortable, and I loved the addition of fresh milk and two free beers in the fridge.
*Public areas of the hotel/pub were very pleasant (especially the outdoor seating overlooking the water)
I would definitely return.
Clearly the hub of the town, we had a great view of the harbor and could easily walk to the sea for even better views. The pub/restaurant was excellent as was the folk singer who had an enthusiastic crowd right up to quitting time (10:30). The section of the South West Coastal Trail that starts just east of town is not to be missed
