Staff were helpful and friendly and welcoming

Everything was fine really clean all staff pleasant
Clean, easy to check in, nice breakfast, and all basic amenities provided.
The tiles at the entrance are in need of immediate repair to prevent trips and falls. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with guests though when we checked in, a longer-term member of staff was talking unkindly to what seemed to be a member of staff in training. She was belittled about having been shown something previously and being unable to complete the task unaided and it wasn't nice. The bed was comfy. The pillows were awful. The hotel was clean. The carpet was vacuumed but could do with a shampoo. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was ideal for restaurants, Villa park & other attractions but was out of the way enough to be quiet.
Location was okay as we were travelling to the NEC. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly
